  • RAPALLO: THE SANCTUARY OF MONTALLEGRO – CABLEWAY

    The Sanctuary was built at the top of a hill where the Virgin Mary, appeared to a peasant in 1557. The sanctuary can be reached in 7 minutes by cableway, the only one in Liguria

  • THE ANCIENT CASTLE ON THE SEA

    Built on a cliff surrounded by the sea in 1549, at the end of the promenade, the castle is the symbol of Rapallo. In the years it was used for different purposes and also as a prison for a long time. After the recent restoration nowadays it is the venue of the most important exhibitions and conventions in town

  • PORTOFINO- SAN FRUTTUOSO BAY

    An ancient and sophisticated village overlooking a sea of indescribable beauty. The famous "Piazzetta" nestles in a small nook along the coast: the heart of fashionable Portofino. The San Fruttuoso Bay, accessible via a pathway or by boat, travelers will find a charming village, at the center of which there is the monumental complex of the Abbey of San Fruttuoso di Capodimonte.

  • THE “CINQUE TERRE”

    The five hamlets of the Cinque Terre are located on the west coast of the Riviera. The five Villages are: Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia , Manarola, Riomaggiore. The area has been turned into a National Park and proclaimed heritage of mankind by UNESCO

  • PORTOVENERE

    This striking, sea-faring village is unique of its kind in Liguria: the Doria quay is hemmed in by a number of tower-like houses which effectively turn the harbour into a fortified citadel. The islands of Palmaria, Tino and Tinetto are located just off the mainland
